Your first visit is designed to go beyond a haircut. This appointment allows the time and space to understand your hair in context—your texture, routine, challenges, growth patterns, styling preferences, and long-term goals—so we can create a shape that works for your real life, not just the day you leave the salon. Together, we’ll assess what’s working, what feels off, and create an intentional plan for your hair moving forward. Whether you’re seeking a subtle refinement, major refresh, or complete shape recalibration, this experience is designed to meet you where you are. This appointment includes an in-depth consultation, customized haircut design, styling guidance, and future planning to support longevity, ease, and confidence between visits. Recommended for first-time guests, major changes, shape resets, longer or denser hair, or anyone who hasn’t had a haircut in 6+ months.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments at The Velvet Salon are reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so the time can be offered to another client. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, as well as missed appointments or no-shows, are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the service booked. A card is required at the time of online booking to secure your appointment. Your card will not be charged at booking and will only be used if a cancellation or no-show fee applies. If you’re unsure which service to book, choose the option that feels closest and we can adjust during your consultation.
