Service Description
A thoughtful haircut experience designed for children ages 5–10. Every child is different, so this appointment begins with a collaborative consultation that includes both parent and child to understand preferences, comfort, routine, and hair goals. Whether maintaining a familiar shape or navigating changing styles as they grow, the goal is a haircut that feels natural, manageable, and easy to wear in everyday life. Each haircut includes a relaxing shampoo, scalp massage, conditioner, and personalized haircut tailored to your child’s hair texture, growth patterns, and lifestyle. This service is best suited for children comfortable sitting independently for a haircut. For guests ages 11+, please reserve a Bespoke Maintenance or New Guest Haircut to allow for additional time and customization. For major changes, extra-thick or longer hair, or children needing additional time, please reach out before booking to ensure the best fit.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments at The Velvet Salon are reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so the time can be offered to another client. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, as well as missed appointments or no-shows, are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the service booked. A card is required at the time of online booking to secure your appointment. Your card will not be charged at booking and will only be used if a cancellation or no-show fee applies. If you’re unsure which service to book, choose the option that feels closest and we can adjust during your consultation.
